Portland “is like a town version of New York’, says actress Faye Dunaway, and jazz musician Leroy Vinnegar says ‘Portland is what San Francisco was 25 years ago.” The city contains a hundred years of the best in Amenican architecture, including Peitro Belluschi’s Commonwealth Building — the first modem skyscraper - erected in 1948.

Central Location IH Portland is housed in a modem downtown Lake Oswego office building within walking distance of shopping, restaurants, theaters, museums, and cinemas. The Greater Portland Metropolitan area is safe and friendly with something fun and exciting to do during every season of the year. Easy Transport Access Portland’s popular, efficient transit system is easy to use and is free throughout the 300-block downtown area known as Fareless Square. Portland’s more than 90 transit lines serve the entire Tri-Met area of downtown and surrounding suburbs. Light-rail also serves the Portland International Airport.

Exam Programs IH schools throughout the world are highly regarded for their superb Cambridge exam programs. IH-USA schools offer the full range of Cambridge exam courses: PET, FCE, CAE, and CPE. The centers also prepare students for other important exams including: TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, CEIBT, and teacher training as well—CELTA and CEELT. If you are planning to sit the GED, SAT, GMAT or the GRE, we can arrange special tutoring.
