IH-USA offers practical and relevant Executive English courses specifically designed for today's international business needs. Maximum group course size is 6. Clients must be at least 21 and have an English ability level of Pre-Intermediate or higher. Each course is 2 weeks in duration. Both IH-San Francisco and IH-Portland have purpose-built Executive Centers.

International House Executive Centers train business and professional people from all over the world to communicate effectively in English. For our business clients effective communication means improving your skills in negotiating, making presentations, entertaining foreign clients, proposal writing, and the ability to speak confidently with colleagues in a variety of contexts.

Your trainers will be certified teachers who are also knowledgeable about and interested in the business world. They provide up-to-date training of the highest standard.

Courses are firmly based on real-life situations, which is reflected in our choice of training techniques and materials. We help you practice the communication skills you will need in your business and professional life.

To the extent possible, we tailor courses to individual requirements which ensures that the time you spend in the Executive Center is as profitable as possible. Attending a course while fully immersed in an English-speaking environment, and away from the pressures and interruptions of office and business life, offers the scope for more rapid progress than would be possible at home.

Internship Option: After completing a minimum 2-week Executive Course, a client may take part in our Internship Program, gaining relevant experience and making invaluable business connections. English ability must be at Upper-Intermediate or higher to qualify. Internships may be up to 12 weeks and a Final Report is required to earn a Certificate of Completion.
